3. Apply Tooling (C) on the cylinder block liner bore
surfaces and liner seals (3).
4. Dip fi ller band (2) in clean engine oil for a
moment. Install the filler band on the cylinder liner
immediately.
5. Use Tooling (B) to install cylinder liner (1) in the
cylinder block. Ensure that any marks in relation
to the cylinder liner projection are in alignment.
