1. Position the gasket on the exhaust manifold.
2. Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of the exhaust
manifold studs.
3. Attach a suitable lifting device to turbocharger (5).
The weight o f turbocharger (5) is approximately
45 kg (100 lb). Position turbocharger (5) on the
exhaust manifold.
4. Install nuts (3) and tighten to a torque of 55 ± 9 N·m
(41±7lbft).
5. Connect tube assemblies (1) and tube assembly
(4).
6. Install tube assembly (2).
7. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Operation and
Maintenance Manual, “Cooling System Coolant
- Change”.
